Ooh yes, that would be the good old jelly slice. Here's a recipe I found for it which was posted on here

Jelly Slice

INGREDIENTS:

1 X 250gm packet of Griffins Malt Biscuits
6 oz melted butter

3 teaspoons Gelatine

Is this what you are after!

Jelly Cake

1 pkt wine biscuits or similar
175g Melted Butter
Mix together and press into base of an 8" (20cm) square tin, set in the fridge
Dissolve 3 teaspoons of gelatin in 1/4 C boiling water. Add juice of 2 lemons and 1 tin of condensed milk. Mix really well and pour over the base. Set in the fridge.
Make a jelly with only 1 1/2 C of water and pour over. Set in the fridge.
You can use any flavour jelly on the top.

I haven't thought about making this for years, I might have to think about doing this for my kiddies.
