Personally I wouldn't put bacon - you already have a salty protein with the smoked chicken.Mushrooms definetely, baby spinach or brocolli, some 'blobs' of cream cheese, fresh or sun-dried tomatoes.Few pieces of feta.

Sometimes we prefer our quiches simple rather than looking like I have emptied out the fridge.That's ok sometimes but if using something relatively expensive like smoked chicken I would keep it more simple so you can actually taste the flavours rather than every mouthful the same -ish.

Whatever you do I am sure it will be delicious.

This is interesting. I don't really see how kumara and eggs could go together, but I suppose its worth a try.
