This recipe calls for 1 package of yest? I have the red lidded edmonds yeast jar - would this work and how much would i need to use?

I use a teaspoon. I think the packets are 7 grams and if you allow for the packet it would be 5 grams.

Hmm my breadmaker has the dough setting -which ive set it on and it still has 50 mins to go as it is rising - is this what im meant to wait for?

Yep, just wait for the dough cycle, including rising, to finish then proceed with the recipe. :-) Sounds yummy!
