This recipe went back yonks ago.I recall it had tomato soup in it and maybe mixed herbs.! It was so tasty and very quick to make.I have tried all the new recipes for it but none like the old basic one.Maybe someone will recall having made it also.TIA.

an old one I had years ago was a tin of tomato soup and about 3/4 of a tin of tomato sauce,mince and onion. maybe this s the one you want

Mines easy 1 can of watties tomato puree..400gm or around that. 1 Can watties tomato paste..Small 2 onions chopped. 4 cloves garlic 1/2 kilo mince or thereabouts. I beef stock cube 1 vegestock cube Salt, pepper. Method" Heat ya pan..throw in some olive oil. Chuck in onions..saute few mins Throw in mince and mix about so the lumps are gone and it's fine. Throw in finely chopped garlic. Throw in both the watties cans Break up and toss in stock cubes. Add a bit of water to the mix for consistency. Salt and pepper it and simmer or caserole it for an hour..Done. Add some parmesancheese at the end or put it on top.

Just need to amend this slightly and add a few more ingredients.
The Tomato paste you want is the smallest can,,around 140g Purees the same around 400g..bit more bit less,,no odds. Add a chopped de-seeded Capsicum. Add a desert spoon of sugar, white or raw Maybe up the onions to 3. Add two chopped tomatoes (optional) Just doing a vat now so amended to my old recipe.
Feed a family of 4-5 that, with the spagetti..

my recipe is very simiar to the above except i use a tin of canned tomatoes and some tomato paste. I also add a couple of grated carrots - this makes it oh so yum and is a great way to add more veggies to your diet :)
