Pork shoulder chops. The catch is its for hubby whos just been diagnosed with a stomach ulcer. So cant have any anything acidic in it. I,m at a total lose as have googled and cant really find anything suitable. A big thank you if you can come up with a recipe for us.

herbiem, other than these two suggestions I'm not sure that I can help you much but.....how about an apple based marinade (google should be your friend on that one) or simply use sliced kiwifruit?

A little honey mixed with some mustard? Spread a thin layer over the sides of the chops about 1/2 an hour before roasting or grilling.
