Pav Help Please!

sleyle, Dec 24, 7:48am
I made a pav from a recipe I got off here a while ago.I did exactly as it said, and when the hour was up I turned the oven off and left it in the oven.A few hours later and I go and check it and it's still sticky, it is not hard like a pav should go so what can I do?Can I put the oven on again or would that ruin it?

I would turn the oven on again - just on low maybe 130 for half an hour and then turn off.You really need to dry it out.Could also be the recipe simply hasn't turned out.

If it was going to be crunchy it already would be after an hour, but I usually cook for a little longer.

I have just realised I misread the recipe and it should have been cooked for 1 and a half hours at 100.I have now turned it back on and will cook it for another half hour so here's hoping!Thank you for replying.
