Yeah, the juice might go a bit strange with the cream if left for a while (should taste fine, just might not look flash) so I would definitely add just before serving, but it sounds super yummy!

Would you maybe pop them into a strainer thingy for a wee bit to get rid of some of the liquid if you didnt want them to splodge

Thanks everyone, to be honest I'm not mad about cherries in kirsch but it seemed a suitable way to use a gift and it happens to be all I've got here at the moment.
