A little feta topped with half a cherry tomato, face up, grilled for a few minutes then a liberal sprinkling of salt and pepper. You could mix egg with the feta to make it stick together but we made them for someone allergic to eggs and they were fine like this so we didn't bother.

hi Bappy - this time am just using crostini and mini tartlets for which I need ideas for plus have done the filled mountain bread (labne, proscitto,lettuce & relish) and cut into bite size rounds - plus the asparagus frittata cut into mini squares, plus falaffel with tzatiki and hummus - unfortunately the state of mind at present is just not forthcoming with the old crostini and tartlets - want them to be easy i.e. no grilling or heating through -

Caramelized onions, with lots of fresh thyme, a little feta ontop and warmed through...
