You must try this one its really a cake but oh so nice I cut in half when cooked and cooled and freeze half for another time' melt in a pot 225gbutter 2 cupscastor sugar{ I use 1 & 3/4 cupsplain sugar} 3 tsp Ginger 2 cups Milk 4 tbsp Golden Syrup 4 tsp Baking Soda
just melt on low heat once it starts to froth do not stir cool. then mix in 4 cups flour Bake in 400 ffor 5 min then turn down to 360 ffor 60 mins Can eat with out butter, buttered like a loaf or if very nice served warm with custard and ice cream, Enjoy
