Hi, does anyone have that gorgeous salad recipe with brocolli and bacon in it??I think also red onion and sultanas???Much appreciated

BROCCOLI AND BACON SALAD
1 bunch broccoli, chopped 2 green onions, chopped 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 3/4 c. raisins
DRESSING:
1 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. white vinegar 1/4 c. sugar
Put dressing over salad. Make a few hours ahead of using.Could use red onion instead of green.

Try this one! Bacon & Broccoli Salad
1 head broccoli 2-3 rashers of bacon ½ cup cashew nuts 1-2 red peppers diced 100gr cubed feta (opt) ½ cup black olives (opt) Dressing: 1/8 cup white wine or cidervinegar ¼ cup olive or grape seed oil 1 heaped tsp grainy mustard 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp minced garlic Cut up broccoli into tiny florets. Dice bacon & cook in a non stick pan. Cool. Place bacon, broccoli, cashews & peppers into a bowl. Dressing: Place all ingreds into a jar & shake vigorously until well blended. Pour over salad & toss through. Can refrigerate or eat @ room Temp. Nice if the dressing has been on at least ½ an hour so as to soak through vegetables before serving.

I made this last year and it was yum. Wont be making for a little while yet brocolli over $3.00 in both vege shops I went into in the weekend.Must put my plants in.

I'm going to buy some feta today so I can make macandrosie's one in the next couple of days.We have 2 heads of brocolli that are almost ready!Yay.

Yum - have made the 2nd one - no nuts though and double the feta -and it looks devine.Can't wait to have it for dinner.Serving it at room temperature over mesclun leaves.

This was so yum its worth trying.A very easy and tasty dressing too suitable for other salads as well.
