I would like more of a morning tea with coffee recipe, not a dessert cake :)

Plonk Cake
2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1/4 tsp baking powder 40 g melted butter Fruit for plonking ( frozen berries work well , but pretty much anything you have will work) slivered almonds
Heat the oven to 170 degrees Cream eggs and sugar until pale anf fluffy ( about 6 mins ) Sift flour and baking pdr and fold into creamed mixture. Stir in the melted butter Pour mixture into a greased cake tin Plonk the fruit over the top of the cake mix Scatter almonds over the top Bake for 45-50 mins
