Corned beef in the slow cooker. please.

Hi have done this and thankyou it's yummy. I had a wee sneky nibble when cutting the meat up lol. Onion and carrots. And i ran out of potatoes so might have to use rice. im just doing a parsley sauce and freeze a plate or 2 for mum and dad for when they come home soon. ( if we dont eat it all that is lol)

The best way to cook corned beef in the slow cooker is in a 1. 5 litre bottle of Gingerale. Cook it on low while you are at work.

Our favourite way is to cook the corned beef in 1. 5 litres of gingerale, with a tablespoon of honey and the same of ground ginger. If the gingerale doesn't cover the meat, top it up with boiling water until it barely covers the meat. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. It's always moist and very tasty. The meat stays moist for a couple of days after cooking. Very tasty and so easy.

You don't find the liquor too salty for the mustard sauce?
