When do I add Risoni to the slow cooker?

Making a chicken casserole tomorrow night for tea and want to turn it into a one dish creation. Thought about adding Risoni. When should I add it. At the beginning or half way thru. I am slow cooking for 8hrs on low. Thanks.

As it is a pasta - and relatively small, I would not think it would need too long. It would also depend on your cooker itself and how low "low" is. When I add spiral pasta to my soups, I add it in the last 1/2 an hour or sos of cooking on high. I noticed that some people here have had their cookers on low with various items in them and they are not cooked in time, so it is difficult to hazard a guess- you would know best just how hot your machine gets, but I would say that half way through would/should be plenty.

Let us know how big they got - they are worse than gummi bears if they have liquid - they will take it on ... LOL
