Chorizo Dried

Have just been tidying out the pantry cupboard and have found a piece of chorizo which is sealed in plastic, never been opened. It must have been there for at least 9 months. It looks fine.

I have a Paella recipe that I bought it for originally, do you think it will be OK to use. It has no dates on at all.

Many thanks

Tiny bump - just in case anyone knows the answer! ! !

Yep I think it would be fine - meats like that are cured and vacum sealed. I would use it anyway :)

thanks antoniab - yes I thought it would be OK, I just wanted a second opinion. I suppose, in theory, it should last for ever!

Not doing too well here though - only finding it once a year!
