No luck on the jam seals packet - they've got quick-frozen raspberry jam and marmalade there now. However, I found the following recipe in an old Aunt Daisy cookbook. The measurements need converting, and the apricots will be the very dehydrated Australian ones - no plump Turkish ones when Aunt Daisy was alive.

APRICOT JAM
2 lbs dried apricots
7 lbs sugar
5 pints water
2 tins crushed pineapple
Wash dried apricots in hot water and a little baking soda. Then soak all night with the 5 pints of water.Next day boil 30 to 40 minutes, add warmed sugar and pineapple, boil till will set - about 1/2 to 3/4 hour.Half quantities may be used.
