i was making this for dinner with blade steak, however my casserole dish just broke. Can i still make it using a large pot on the stove? And does anybody have some yummy recipes for this please? :)

yes, just cook it low and slow. .
I usually use a maggi sachet as a base, then add tomatoes, cumin, mixed herbs, bay leaf, black pepper, coriander, thyme, chinese 5 spice.
