Jo Seagar's Chocolate Chunk Oat Biscuits

Makes 24 large biscuits

1 and 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
200 gms dark chocolate, roughly chopped, or large chocolate buttons

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line two baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

2. Beat butter, condensed milk and sugar together.

3. Add flour, rolled oats, baking powder and chocolate chunks.

4. Flatten spoonfuls on the prepared oven trays and cook for 15 -20 minutes until golden brown.

5. Cool on a wire rack and store in an air tight container.

this is my easy peasy food processor one I got from the internet

125gramm butter
1/2 cup brown sugar ( a full cup is 250ml)
1/2 cup white sugar------whizz in FP until creamy

add an egg and whizz a bit more

add 1 3/4 cups flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp vanilla, pinch salt

add choc chips of choice, I currently use small handful of plain giantsize button, and 1 small handful of dark choc giant buttons. i find that the giant ones are best in the FP.

roll into balls, flatten out a bit on tray and cook about 12-15minson 180 deg

If you used the Edmonds recipe, you need 3TBPS condensed milk rather than 3tsps.

sossie1 - I just made your reciepe and they are really yum. I made a single batch and got 40 decent size biscuits out of it. And only needed the food processor so didn't make a lot of dirty dishes.
Thanks for posting the recipe.
