Will baking with frozen blueberries versus fresh blueberries have any impact on the outcome of the recipe? i.e. will it affect the water content? Should I make alterations to quantity? I'd appreciate your thoughts.

don't think so as made muffins with frozen black currants came out great

It doesn't make a difference. Just make sure you put berries in frozen.
