Making home made glue, recipe needs cornstarch. If not corn flour where can i buy cornstarch from? Thanks

I would have thought it was the same but do a google search using the word "cornstarch" and have a look at a couple of links... . scroll down to the yahoo one... . . what I do know is cornstarch is called cornflour in the UK and NZ.

Great thanks. Now all i need to find cornsyrup, someone told me to try countdown as pak n save dont have it here. Ahhh what we do for kids! ! ! LOL

watertank1, I would expect you to have success in finding corn syrup at Countdown but just in case you don't, do you have a New World supermarket handy to you? Our local NW does have corn syrup - in or near where baking ingredients (dried fruits, essences, etc. ) are on their shelves.

You should be able to use glucose syrup instead of corn syrup and Countdown sells glucose syrup. Queen brand I think.
