I have just purchased a box of the above and it states that it is a direct replacement for ordinary flour. Does that mean when a recipe calls for a cup of standard flour that I can use a cup of this gluten free without having to add any other products.

I use a straight cup to cup replacement without a problem. Sometimes a little more liquid can be needed in a 'normal' recipe.

It works for a lot of recipes but not all. Trial & error I'm afraid but I find the Bakels the nicest tasting GF Flour.

I find I need to add double the baking powder to get a successful result.

this product states it contains raising agents (it's one i use at work) but i still use one teaspoon per cup of flour. otherwise treat it as regular flour.

Where do you buy this from and how much is it?Sounds easier than alternatives ofdifferent GF flours.

I bought mine from Countdown, and from memory it was around $9 for a KG box.

Most supermarkets stock it now. In a Yellow/ orange box. Yes just gone up to about $9/kg. But is a good mix.
