Hello, I am interested in purchasing an ice cream maker, and wonder whether anyone has any comments or recommendations that could help eg make, model, what to look for, what to avoid, size etc Thanks in advance :)

It's the right weather for ice-cream! Any thoughts anyone! I made a lovely strawberry, lychee & mint sorbet for new year's eve (which didn't need a machine) - it was delicious! :)

My Krups is pretty good although I believe there are cheaper models out these days.

I have a breville scraper pro mixer with the icecream bowl attachment. I love it!

Oooh, now there's an idea, I would love to update my trusty old Kenwood mixer one day (was acquired a long time ago from a business upgrading its mixer, so although its still working fine, its old old old) - a mixer with ice cream attachment could be the way to go!:)
