Every year I get this hankering to make this to die for slice that is in a cafe in Hastings, but still no success I know it doesn't have coconut or egg i it,,,,.It is sort of like a shortbread texture with the fruit mice in the middle. Anyone got any recipes that could fit the bill.Thanks
mmmm, that looks like one, my dear old mum used to make, but I think she just used a jar (or made her own) fruit mincemeat and a shortcrust pastry.mmmm. really good do with a slice now.
