Is there an explanation for why I can no longer find Peanut Oil on the shelves of my local supermarkets! Is there a shortage of peanuts! An oil crisis, maybe!

Same here. Have tried the last three weeks of countdown online shopping and it doesnt recognise the product.

I have just done a little research and it would seem that drought in the USA and Senegal is responsible for a shortage of peanuts this year, and this in turn has led to a 49% increase in the price of peanuts.
There will be shortages of almost everything soon: wheat, soy, peanuts, cocoa, sugar, corn . etc
So this may be the time to dig a little garden to at least supplement your food bills - if you cannot be self sufficient.
