We have quite a few at Waikato University Library - Ive had a browse through them a few times. One has recipes for '1 egg, 1oz butter, 2oz flour then recipes for 2 eggs, 1oz butter, 2 oz flour etc etc :)

Haha I remember my Grandmother telling me that they couldnt get any so used to draw the black line up the backs of their legs with eyebrow pencil! She was born in the 20's
