I was given a lot of onions so chopped and froze for future use. Sealed in plastic bags in another plastic bag and in an ice-cream container. I can smell them when I open the freezer and am concerned they will taint other food in the freezer. Help please.Thanks.

Not much help sorry never frozen them, according to google you wrap in cling wrap 3 times then into a plastic bag to keep smell in.

Thank you for that fifie.Why didn't I think of Google!I'll wrap up the ice-cream container right now.
