I have a wedding cake to do for end of Nov.Traditional fruit cake with almond and white icing. What I want to know is, how long before wedding can I complete icing the cake!

you can ice that quite a while before as long as you have somewhere to store it that is dry and out of sunlight.you could finish it a month a head easy, even now should be okay depending on if you can store it well

Yes storing wont be a problem, thanks a lot, it would help me a lot to have it done 2 weeks prior as I am having visitors then and up until the wedding. I used to do cakes quite a bit, but haven't bothered much for the last 7 years. Appreciate your help!
