Pastry tart cases - help!

I have some small 'arcopal' flan dishes in which I made small tarts, but the pastry stuck to the dish.Can someone guide me as to the buttering or oiling of these dishes.do not want another disaster! Cannot remember whether I did or did not grease them last time.all help appreciated. mrs cucine.

Spray and flour, or line the bases with baking paper.

pastry should almost always be cooked in tins, it keeps the heat hotter if that makes sense, you could also use a disc of baking paper in the bottom if you have to use glass
