Can anyone recommend a cook book for thai cooking that has reasonably authentic recipes but easy to follow and use with ingredients that are easy to source! Thanks.
You won't be able to produce authentic dishes without the proper ingredients though. Thai basics include fish sauce, shrimp paste, garlic, ginger, galangal, kaffir lime, coriander leaves and roots, chilli and limes.
David Thompson, Thai Food, like a Thai bible for the not Thai. Nicely bound in pink Thai silk. Really nice book.

Thank you so much.davidt4 I do have a lot of those ingredients as have done the odd bit of thai/indian cooking.I'm just wanting to expand and do a bit more.I might even go to a class as I think it would be a lot of fun!We eat a bit of ethnic food in our house but I guess I want to build on that a bit. Many thanks everyone.
