Oh yes cherry pie filling was yummy - could eat that straight from the can and, in fact, often had it with yoghurt instead of in a pie.Didn't like battenburg as a kid but it was my grandma and my dad's favourite.We only ever had cocoa at home growing up - Horlicks was a special treat we had on holidays but my other grandma always had Bournvita.

On Trays in Petone have the South African made Marmite, given the ingredients are basic it probably tastes the same.

l read somewhere the other day that an english shop in NZ had $11,000 worth of UK marmite sitting on a wharf because Marmite NZ wouldn't let them have it Seems a bit silly to me but marmite NZ says it is protecting its copyright

Yes - that was a trader who I have bought from on here - I hate to say it but he was so rude when he didn't send me what I asked for that I think it serves him right.Anyway, apparently there is another shop selling "real" Marmite but it's very expensive:
