Wow, everyone in my family prefers the budget peaches. They are usually firm and full of flavour. No one likes the. Watties ones, always mushy. Also prefer budget tomatoes and butter. But not too keen on anything else they put out. Hate homebrand products, dont think I've come across any thing of theirs that we like.

No.was apricots. Select, wattles and spc brands only. I think all tinned apricots are tasteless. The best were those large roxdale I think it was, big tasty otago ones. Not sold in NZ anymore.

They looked at apricots and all of the fruit was from South Africa. From memory the 'Select' brand was the best.

The label will tell you the actual percentage of fruit in the tin. Often the ones thart seem a really good special will have less fruit. Usual range seems to be 60 to 65 %.

Roxdale apricots not sold in NZ anymore! Crikey what is the world coming to.Think I will bottle or freeze my own from now on.seems safer.
