You need 3cups self raiseing flour 2cups of plain yohgurt and 1 packet of onion soup.
Mix all together very well, then place into a well greased loaf dish then cook for half hour to 40mins (keep checking) on 160-180 depending on ur oven.
Serve with soup or butter :) YUM !
ONE PAN MINCE VEGE MEAL: one pan as u add all ingredients in at the same time and stir and wait till its cooked.
Prepare and chop all veges upsuch as 1. brocilli, 1. carrot, 1. pepper and what ever other veges u got. Leave in a bowl together. frozen corn is good to as adds colour with brocilli.
What you do is add 2 table spoon of oil to frying pan, add chopped onion, then add a $5-7 bucks packet of mince 600gms, then add all your freash chopped veges ALL TOGETHER ONE AFTER THE OTHER AT SAME TIME. then 2cups of spriural pasta and a packet of tomato soup. Add two cups of boiling water Then mix and leave to cook stirring regular so doesnt stick, and keep adding water up to 5 cups total to help simmer and cook.
This will take 15-20mins to cook when the pasta is ready, its ready.
Serve with grated cheese on top and freash bread on the side.
I worked it out if you were to use pams ingredients and a loaf of bread from supermakrt each serving for upto 6 people will be 3bucks each. Kids love it ... !

CHICKEN CASSEROLE 4 large or 8 small chicken pieces 4 potatoes 2 onions 4 carrots chopped celery 1 ½ cups water 2 teaspoons instant chicken stock (optional) 1 teaspoon mixed herbs (or 1 tablespoon fresh herbs) 1-2 tablespoons cornflour to thicken
Take the skin off the chicken pieces. Cut the potatoes into large pieces. Slice the carrots into rounds. Cut the onions into chunks. Put the vegetables and chicken pieces into a casserole dish. If using stock, dissolve in the water. Pour the water over. Sprinkle over the herbs. Cover. Bake at 180°C for 1 ½ hours until chicken is cooked.
Thicken the casserole by mixing the cornflour in a cup with ¼ cup cold water. Add this to the casserole near the end of cooking.

If you eat vegetarian you will save heaps of money. Rice and pulses are cheap as chips and you can make some lovely recipes from them. TVP is a good meat sub. You wont be able to tell the difference from meat with a lot of recipes. Just sub TVP for mince in any of your mince recipes.
