while on holiday in blenheim, at new year, saw packets of square waffles in packets, beside the crumpets, for sale in supermarkets. i havent seen them here in the Nth island, and have asked local supermarkets, could someone in Sth island check them out, and see who makes them. thanks very much. didnt buy any, and wished i had.

I'm in Auckland and the only waffles I've seen at the supermarket are the Nanna's and Pacific Valley ones... have tried the Nanna's ones and they were nice, just pop them in the toaster and serve.

The ones we have are 'Waffle-On' waffles available in plain choc chip and apricot... ... ... ... they are square shaped... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... - purchased from countdown here in south island
