.would it be OK to make this today up to the stage of pouring the milk & eggs over, then cover & put in fridge to cook tomorrow, or would it be better to make the whole thing today & re-heat tomorrow! Sorry for dumb question - not a dessert person here lol.

I'd do first part, too. I think sometimes it's even recommended that you let it sit for a while and soak before cooking.

i worked in a rest home and we always did this and maybe need to add alittle bit more milk the next day.
