Cheats scones - really easy & never fail!
2 cups flour
1 cup grated cheese + extra
1/2 tsp salt
3 Heapedtsp baking powder
1 cup milk
125gm butter

Put butter & milk, in microwave for 1min.
Mix with all the other ingredient, -don't over mix!
Turn out onto well floured board, pat VERY lightly into shape 2cm thick. Don't knead, it'll make the scones tough!
Put extra cheese on top.
Cut into desired size, or with cutter.
Place on lightly greased oven tray.
Bake 220c for 12 - 15 mins. until light gold,& well risen.
Enjoy!

Always add a teaspoon of sugar to your savoury muffins and scones - it makes a big difference to the taste.
