anyone out their knowing the recipe for after dinner mints please. As I have lost it.

hey smurf on the left next to your first post on this page is a search box, under 'message board' use the drop down menu to choose 'recipes' then where it says 'keyword or member' type in your request ie ' mars bar slice' . then using the drop down menu under 'date posted' choose 'last year ' then click 'search', and you'll find what you are looking for.

hey Smurf - can you tell me any of the ingredients in your recipe!I have one that has egg white, peppermint essence and icing sugar and you leave the mints to dry out in the hot water cupboard then dip in choc - is that the kind of one you are after!

From the "Confectionary Thread".
"After Dinner Mints 125gm Philadelphia cream cheese 2 oz butter 4 Tablespoons Cocoa 2 1/2 dessertspoons peppermint essence 1 lb icing sugar Method - Cream together the cream cheese and butter. Add cocoa and peppermint essence. Add icing sugar. Roll into small balls, then press with end of a fork . Refrigerate several hours.

The one I used to do,was melt a block of Chocolate,spread half on some greaseproof paper ,let it set .in a bowl, mix icing sugar,egg white,peppermint essence and roll out to cover the choc spread,then add the rest of the choc to cover the top.cut when set
