Roast lamb with all the trimmings. Men really like that sort of stuff - lashings of meat and gravy with roasted spuds, butternut or kumara and just-barely-cooked vegetables.
Add in some mint sauce, butter for the spuds and apple pie with ice cream and cream and you'll have them eating out of your hand. Don't forget the beer.
