Just posting this cos I love a little food porn ;)

Ok what do you think, having a couple of great friends over to stay tonight, have our 2 sons at their grandparents so only madam 12 months to distract me. Hubby is not a foodie at all but my friends are THANK GOODNESS.

This is whats on the menu

Pre-dinner nibbles: marinated herbed olives, chicken and cranberry pate, crackers and brie.

Dinner: Slow roasted mutton, roasted eggplant and pumpkin (with balsamic vinegar if liked) herb, bean and chickpea salad, greek salad.

Dessert: Baked blueberry cheesecake with cream and extra berries.

Does it work for you?

Sounds great, the only thing I would consider adding would be potatos maybe par boiled then put into tin foil with good quality olive oil, rock salt and rosemary. Then into the oven for the last hour of the mutton cooking
