I have two stale chocolate cakes that I would like to find a recipe that I can make truffles or something similar please

here you are leisap - the following recipe is from the former Trademe Cooks.
"Truffles 4 cups plain or choc cake crumbs, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1/4 cup jam (any flavour - warmed, 2 T brandy or dark rum, 2 T water, coconut or choc sprinkles to roll them in. Combine cake crumbs, sifted cocoa, strained jam, alcohol & water. Roll into balls and into coconut or sprinkles. Refrigerate. posted by rkcroft"
