Feijoa sauce

Does anyone have a recipe for feijoa sauce!We have so many and I have made jam, chutney,pulped them, given them away as havn't any more room in the freezer.A sauce recipe would be most appreciated.TIA.

Wouldn't you just puree the pulp and add sugar! My friend does what I just suggested and then freezes it in smallish quantities for using in either icecream (with cardamon addds an interesting flavour by the way) and in vanilla custard.I know what you mean, I have ONE tree and it produces that much fruit it's unbelievable!

Stewed feijoa's are really nice on porridge.

We use to make Rhubarb sauce, we just used a plum sauce recipe but put rhubarb instead of plums, everyone loved mum's sauce!

Not what you are looking for, but my mum used to make feijoa leather.
put flesh into food processor blend till smooth,pour into dehydrator trays and the next morning it was ready. yum.

Instead of Tomato sauce we had rhubarb sauce just use feijoas instead of tomato or Rhubarb (or plum with the recipe my Mum used)
