Hey is there any good cafes in waitakere you would recommend trying for breakfast one morning. Like taking DD out for a treat but dont know many places around. Dont like paying over the top prices though anyone!

There is a lovely cafe at the Swanson railway station.If you head out Kumeu way you can't go wrong with Blosssoms (next door to Borics fruit/vege shop SH16).Then again Carriages in Kumeu/Huapai is lovely too!

Sierra Cafe in Lincold Rd is supposed to be nice.we had breakfast at Luscious Food Store in Te Atatu Pen. last weekend that was great!

Redwoods in Swanson is beautiful and very reasonable,opposite the butchers, highly reccomended

I'll second that. had an amazing Egg's Benedict there a while ago.
