Creamed corn, flour, baking powder if needed, seasoning, choppedfresh herbs or maybe some finely chopped red onion and an egg. Dirt-poor or not they are delicious.

Beware of "PAMS" cream corn it's so hard it needs to be cooked or put through the blender before making the fritters - try to steal an egg to add as well LOL
