Defrosting a frozen crayfish?

What is the quickest/best way to defrost a cooked frozen crayfish!
I have just been given one, and I want to eat it tonight if possible.

Its been cooked, then frozen.I'm not sure I can wait for it defrost on the bench, its cold here so it will take forever that way.Its torturous to see it and not being able to devour it immediately.
I guess simmering it in a pot would overcook the flesh, wouldnt it!

Plus it would leave the inside still frozen. I've not done this before but why not crack open the fish and take the meat out of the shell. It will defrost much faster then.
