Their used to be a gherkin place on Mairehau Rd Chch opposite side of road to the Vege Pot, but sorry I don't know if it is still there.
In Rangiora try along the Oxford Road at the Tomato place, they might sell them.
When we lived in Rangiora (just left in September) we grew our own & had plenty to pickle.We love them!

i get mine from what used to be called franks on russley rd, i think they are still under that name, i order mine when their sign goes up.Or also vegepot off marshlands rd.
