I have a ham (bought frozen) that has been thawed since christmas day but in the fridge. It is still in its vacuum seal do you think it would still be okay to eat!

Would want to glaze and bake before hand but hope it will still be good

My butcher says that three weeks is fine for vacuum packed

I would probably say yes - vacuum sealed - cured - should be OK.Being frozen, it will benefit from baking - 150 for 2-3 hours. This lets some of the stored juice come out and the ham will become firmer.Once open, the smell will tell you for sure - if it smells a little iffy, wash off the surrounding brine, remove the skin (carefully so that the fat layer remains) and smell again.Sometimes the brine itself smells but not the meat.Hope all that makes sense.
