"Storecupboard Mint sauce" Boil equal quantities of chopped mint leaves, vinegar and sugar for 10 minutes. Pour into sterilized bottles and cap or cork. ( I use cleaned and sterilized small Steinlager bottles for all my store cupboard sauces, and cap them with new, sterilized, caps). To use - thin down some of the sauce in a jug, with water, to taste. Use as you would use freshly made mint sauce.

easy lemonade. squeeze 2 large lemons (ours are huge) into a jug and fill with water adding a good sprig of mint.chill in fridge and enjoy.this is very refreshing and if you get the lemon right you dont need sugar.
