You are very conflicted elli. One day you are scolding a new poster here for giving health advice in recipes. Then you do exactly the same thing in another thread. It is hard to know where you actually stand. Personally if everyone wants to poison themselves using teflon coated cooking equipment that, imo, is their prerogative and normally I wouldn't have supplied the information.

I guess what I should have done is rave about teflon coated sandwich presses and you would have jumped into action, warning all and sundry about the dangers of teflon. All I did was short circuit the process.

I love mine we do bacon, patties, steak, hash browns, and it drains the fat out and easy to clean :)

big thumbs up for a plain brevillle press (the flat element one) biffed the toastie maker that squished them into triangle halves and never looked back.even makes the crusts eddible!
