Pappadums are very difficult to make they are made out of ground beans/dal and then sundried/dehydrated. Much easier to buy them readymade.everyone in India does.

Try Moshmins (sp) behind Valentines in Glenfield for a wonderful array of indian herbs & spices etc. Their home made samosas are amazing.

My first attempt of cooking papadoms in the mocrowave was a total disaster. I brushed then lightly with oil and laid them on paperon the microwave glass turntable. The extreme heat cracked my glass turntable.

Don't brush them with oil kinna. Just put them in dry.
