Just been to our local New World this morning and found a packet of the most yummiest coconut macaroons in their bakery (which are just about all gone now .... oops!!)

Would love to have a go at making them ..... does anyone have a simple recipe?

Thanks heaps.

These are so easy & very moreish!

Coconut Macaroons

2 cups desiccated coconut

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place coconut, sugar and egg whites in a bowl, mix to combine. Roll 2 teaspoonsful of mixture into balls and place on baking tray.

It's the recipe already posted above actually!
It also works well in tarts - a nice thick layer of jam and then the above mixture on top. They are seriously good!
