For me it's the humble potato peeler.I could never master the art of peeling vegetables with a knife without wastage. Yet I've lost count at the amount of times I've 'accidently' thrown out my treasure amongst those peelings - which is probably why I have more than a couple lurking in the draw, that or perhaps I'm wishful thinking some one may like to join me....
