Has anybody got a recipe for the Mother Earth baked Oaty Slices Bars or similar?Am wanting to make some the same - in particular the chocolate and apricot and Raspberry and white chocolate.Have kept wrappers from each but a little unsure of quantities.They do taste like they have a lot of sugar in them, so would probably cut that down a bit!Thanks in advance :)

yes they do taste like they have a lot of sugar, the raspberry and white chocolate are yummy, I thought they would have been a bit more 'healthier' than others but just as bad.

I make this one and it is soo nice Baked Oaty Slice.... This is easy ... 150g butter 1 tablespoon golden syrup 1/2 cup brown sugar Melt together for 2 minutes in microwave. Stir to mix. Add: 1.5 C flour 1 C rolled oats 1/2 C coconut 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 C sultanas Mix well and press into tin. Bake at 180 for 10 minutes. add choc bits, pumpkin or sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, apricots, etc

Thanks pam.delilah - yes I make that one alot also, and vary the ingredients a bit as well.I think the ME Bars are a little different though - they seem to have more of a wholemeal/wheatgerm content/taste to them than this one though....
